FINSERV CONNECT

As the outbreak of COVID-19 has been developing worldwide, the Council for Inclusion in Financial Services has been closely tracking its impact within the financial services community. We have been monitoring daily recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), along with the numerous travel restrictions issued by companies and medical institutions. Due to the limited number of thought leaders and speakers able to present at our live events, we are no longer able to host the FinServ Connects meetings that our attendees and exhibitors have come to expect until further notice.

After carefully weighing the emerging facts as well as our duties to our attendees, members, staff, and the local communities we as financial services professionals serve, the CIFS has made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel the FinServ Connect events as well as the 2020 National FinServ Expo. We have given the situation deep consideration and want to provide all attendees with ample opportunity to manage air travel, hotel reservations, and personal schedules. We also want to respect our attendees and staff’s need to be available to and healthy for their own businesses, communities, and teams.
